A quick overview of how planning, payments, and cancellations work at LenusTravels.

Planning fee

A one-time $50 planning fee is collected before custom research begins. It covers destination research, availability and pricing checks, up to three personalized trip options, and a 30-minute planning call.

The planning fee is nonrefundable once research has started, as it pays for time and expertise rather than the trip itself.

Deposits & payments

Once you approve a trip, a deposit is required to secure your reservation. Deposit amounts, payment schedules, and final payment deadlines are set by the cruise line, resort, or supplier and will be shared before booking.

All supplier payments are processed directly through the booking supplier — not through LenusTravels.

Cancellations & refunds

Cancellation and refund terms follow the policies of the supplier (cruise line, resort, tour operator, airline) attached to your booking. These vary by supplier, destination, room/cabin category, and how close to travel you cancel.

The $50 planning fee is nonrefundable. Any supplier deposits or payments are refundable only per that supplier's written cancellation policy, which will be provided in writing before you book.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel disruptions.

Changes to your trip

Change requests after booking (dates, cabins, guests, add-ons) are subject to supplier availability and may incur change fees set by that supplier. I'll always share those fees in writing before making any change.

Pricing & availability

Travel prices and availability are not guaranteed until a deposit is paid and your reservation is confirmed. Quotes may change if you delay booking or if the supplier updates pricing.

Travel documents

Clients are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, and any required travel documents for their destination. LenusTravels can share general guidance and helpful resources, but final document requirements are the traveler's responsibility.
